About this Course:

The ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional Exam (CCSSP) preparation course is an instructor lead, five-day course. The elements of this course will be covered over five days of the period. The ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional course includes aspects such as strategies about data and system security, record keeping and detection of attacks on the system. Moreover, the course also covers legal and privacy aspects involved in the case of working with law enforcement agencies.

Course Objectives:

The ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional Exam preparation course has the following objectives.

  • Enable an individual to identify and explain five characteristics of cloud computing as per the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) definition.
  • Enable an individual to distinguish between forensic analysis in corporate data center and cloud computing environments.
  • Enable an individual to distinguish between various as-a-service delivery models and frameworks that are incorporated into the cloud computing reference architecture.
  • Provide knowledge and understanding of strategies for data protection at rest or in motion
  • Provide knowledge and understanding of strategy related to safeguarding of data, classification of data, ensuring privacy, and assuring compliance with regulatory agencies' requirements.
  • Provide knowledge and understanding of tackling legal investigations in collaboration with authorities.

Prerequisites:

  • Full time working experience of cumulative five years in the field of IT, out of which, three years working experience must pertain to information security while one-year working experience in one of the six CCSP CBK domains.

Earning CSA’s CCSK certificate can be substituted for 1 year of experience in 1 or more of the 6 domains of the CCSP CBK. Earning (ISC)²’s CISSP credential can be substituted for the entire CCSP experience requirement. A candidate that doesn’t have the required experience to become a CCSP may become an Associate of (ISC)² by successfully passing the CCSP examination. The Associate of (ISC)² will then have 6 years to earn the 5 years required experience.
